I love shopping. It’s like therapy and Good Street shopping destinations is like an orgasmic experience for a person like me. Having been across India to all these destinations I felt like sharing the places I found the best to do street shopping
Bapu Bazar, Jaipur : Bapu Bazar is like a small treasure store for everything ethnic stuff you can wish to buy ranging from clothes, bed-sheets, accessories, kurtis, Jutis, wall-hangings- EVERYTHING. The beautiful Rajasthani touch is something you will find in every apparel you pick up. The highlight of my shopping experience was that I could get cotton kurtis at dirt cheap prices for which I usually have to empty my purse for. Other than that the contemporary jewelry, if you haggle and find properly, you can find amazing collection at good prices
Sarojini, New Delhi : Sarojini is without a doubt a heaven for almost every teen ager who likes street shopping. You can find toppers, dresses, footwear and bags. The only thing is that is required is patience and ability to bargain. Tuesdays are the best days to visit the market because they refresh the stock. Though on Monday you can get clothes as cheap as 20rs since it’s like a clearance day for them( Mondays are off for the market)
Collaba, Mumbai : Collaba is the best place to shop for everything trendy in the country. I love the junk jewelry collection. There is a shop for antique glass frames which is a must grab for everyone. Other than that the scarfs, accessories, footwear, clothes are really good. The whole street gives a vibrant feel. There are amazing cafes to hang out in after shopping spree plus the nearby marine drive makes it worth the visit.
Hong Kong lane, Pune: Located near Garware Bridge, The lane is famous for imported products. You can find bags, clothes, accessories, books and footwear. You can also try for branded stuff like Nike, Reebok, Diesel and alike. Remember to wear bargaining hat while shopping in this market.
Commercial street, Banglore: Commercial Street is a haven for shopaholics. From the simplest of trinkets to the trendiest of clothes, I bet you will find them all at this place. But the place is a maze I ended up losing the track of where I started from and where I am going. But it was worth an experience
Law Garden , Ahemadabad : If you are a fan of Gujrati stuff you would love Law Garden. loved the You will find chania choli earrings, Laces, Blouses and Gujrati kotis. There is a section of street food at the end of the shopping street. A perfect plan would be to do the shopping and then devour the amazing food (Matka Kulfi was my favorite)
Hazratganj, Lucknow: You will find the traditional Luckhnavi stuff here especially the chicken suits and kurtis. The amazing aura because of the architecture around and the people is mesmerizing .the kulfi and faluda wold make the your day
